Summer Fun in pictures

This summer has been so much fun and I'm sad it's almost over. Sorry for the picture overload but I had a hard time narrowing it down. This past weekend we celebrated my 22nd birthday. Tyler got off work a little early so we headed to Deer Creek to relax on the beach and play in the water. This is where we discovered my love affair with ... WATER :) Tyler pointed out to me on the way home that my favorite place to go is the the lake, my favorite sound is laying in a boat listening the the water "gulp", I'm always commenting on how pretty it is, I'm constantly telling Tyler how thirsty I am and how I'll die if I don't get water soon, and I work at a water softening company. What can I say, I love water. These pictures of London smiling melt my heart each time I look at them. She looked so cute in her swimming suit.

The lake must of worn her out. This is London's newest discovery...her thumb.

That night we ate at Texas Road House. MMM

London has been an amazing sleeper for us which I am so grateful for. She usually ends up in our bed by morning to eat and finish sleeping. We must have slept in a little too long because when I woke up this is what I found. Notice the wet ring spreading from her little behind - my bad.
We had a Rowley family BBQ yesterday up the canyon. Here is a picture of the 3 wittle ones at the BBQ earlier this summer. Look how much they've grown since.

I guess Anabelle didn't get the memo on the matching outfits

We had a Dunaway family BBQ at Scott and Marjie's to celebrate the 24th of July. Dixon's jeep was the hit of the party. Tyler chased them them all around the yard. Notice Michael isn't looking where he's going. Ha, that sums up the whole night. They crashed into the fence, the umbrella, the deck, even almost ran over poor Dash.

2 Months

I can't believe our little girl is 2 months already. We went to the doctor this week and here are the results:

Weight: 11.4 lbs (58th percentile)
Height: 22 in (31st percentile, not surprising)
Head: 15.5 inches  (60th percentile)

It was so so sad to watch London get her shots.  She went from smiling to screaming higher and louder than she has ever cried before. She had the saddest little pucker face and whimpered that whole night. She finally calmed down and fell asleep after a nice warm bath and some snuggling.

A week later needless to say she is feeling much much better and happier.

Tyler's birthday was on the 11th. We had a list of fun activities to do to celebrate and one on the list was to watch the Women's World Cup game. I was really hoping London would be a tennis player but I think she is already hooked on soccer. Look at that face. This is both of them watching the quarter finals USA vs Brazil.

We put London down for a nap one Sunday and when she woke up this is what we found...

Happy 2 Months to our sweet sweet girl.

London's Baby Blessing

London was blessed this past Sunday. It was a special day for our little family especially to see her dad bless her. Tyler did such a good job. We are so lucky to be London's parents. She is so sweet and we just can't get enough of her. We love her more and more each day.

Remember how I told you it's fun to see London's personality come out more each day. Well, we decided she is one smart little girl. Usually when we go out she is perfect and as soon as we get home she knows. Well Sunday morning was a bit crazy! I worried the whole week that she would cry during her blessing. I think she could sense how much Tyler and I wanted her to be good. We had to make sure she was changed, fed, and tired so she would maybe sleep through it. Well, she cried all morning up until church. Then of course she was an angel once we got there and basically all afternoon while we visited with family. I guess I shouldn't worry anymore because apparently she knows when it's time to behave.

This is how our morning went...

She is so precious in this picture.  Penny, Tyler's Mom, made London's dress and headband and even got her cute little shoes. She is very talented!

We are lucky to have so much of our family live so close. London has lots of cousins and just this year 4 more girls were born within a couple months of her and there are 2 more on the way.
