2 Months

I can't believe our little girl is 2 months already. We went to the doctor this week and here are the results:

Weight: 11.4 lbs (58th percentile)
Height: 22 in (31st percentile, not surprising)
Head: 15.5 inches  (60th percentile)

It was so so sad to watch London get her shots.  She went from smiling to screaming higher and louder than she has ever cried before. She had the saddest little pucker face and whimpered that whole night. She finally calmed down and fell asleep after a nice warm bath and some snuggling.

A week later needless to say she is feeling much much better and happier.

Tyler's birthday was on the 11th. We had a list of fun activities to do to celebrate and one on the list was to watch the Women's World Cup game. I was really hoping London would be a tennis player but I think she is already hooked on soccer. Look at that face. This is both of them watching the quarter finals USA vs Brazil.

We put London down for a nap one Sunday and when she woke up this is what we found...

Happy 2 Months to our sweet sweet girl.

London's Baby Blessing

London was blessed this past Sunday. It was a special day for our little family especially to see her dad bless her. Tyler did such a good job. We are so lucky to be London's parents. She is so sweet and we just can't get enough of her. We love her more and more each day.

Remember how I told you it's fun to see London's personality come out more each day. Well, we decided she is one smart little girl. Usually when we go out she is perfect and as soon as we get home she knows. Well Sunday morning was a bit crazy! I worried the whole week that she would cry during her blessing. I think she could sense how much Tyler and I wanted her to be good. We had to make sure she was changed, fed, and tired so she would maybe sleep through it. Well, she cried all morning up until church. Then of course she was an angel once we got there and basically all afternoon while we visited with family. I guess I shouldn't worry anymore because apparently she knows when it's time to behave.

This is how our morning went...

She is so precious in this picture.  Penny, Tyler's Mom, made London's dress and headband and even got her cute little shoes. She is very talented!

We are lucky to have so much of our family live so close. London has lots of cousins and just this year 4 more girls were born within a couple months of her and there are 2 more on the way.
Anabelle and London are 2 1/2 months apart

Hypnotize Me

For my mom's birthday back in May we went to a hypnotist show as a family. Tyler, Stefenee, and Brent all attempted but Tyler was the only one that made it past the first test. Tyler was definitely the hit of the show. Unfortunately, he snapped out of it half way through when the hypnotist said voodoo doll. I thought I would share some videos from that night to give you a good laugh. Sorry if they are sideways and a bit shaky. I was laughing way to hard to keep the camera straight. Enjoy!
Tyler, Stefenee, and Brent right before being put under
Each person was supposed to think of their favorite sports car, hop in the drivers seat and be prepared to drive faster than they've ever driven before.

The girl in this video was told that she was supposed to dance like Brittany Spears and Tyler was her back up dancer.

He sure looked like he knew what he was doing considering he has never taken a piano lesson before :)

What did you say your name was again? Everyone but Tyler in this video would stutter when they tried to say their name. Tyler apparently thought he was someone else.

Happy Birthday MOM!

Summa Time

One of my favorite things about summer time is not being locked up inside all day. There are so many fun activities that you can enjoy outside and I especially love going to rodeos. We went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo Saturday night. Jared, one of our cousins, competed in the cow milking contest and his daughter Kaitlyn competed in the sheep riding. Jared placed first Wednesday night and I believe third Saturday night. I love watching the little kids ride the sheep and hold on for dear life. Kaitlyn did so well taking first Saturday night and second over all 4 nights. Here is a video of her bear hugging the sheep as they ride away. I wish I could have got a closer shot.

Here she is with her winning trophy. Good job Katilyn
